Well, you are way ahead of me Greg! Nicely done.

I think you got the most of it. The only thing I'll add is that I MAY add Bukkit later on, but ONLY for administrative plugins (and WorldEdit, I love WorldEdit). There WILL NOT be any gameplay changing plugins.

The only exception to that could ever occur is if a super majority (75%+) of players vote for something, AND I can and am willing to put in the extra effort to keep it running ( some things just over-complicate things way to much). I reserve the right to make the final decision even in these cases because the majority has been wrong before on some of these decisions.

My final decision will also always be made with input for two others. So the people I have in mind know I'm referring to them....
-One of them has been my gaming friend for the last couple years. His last name starts with W. He prefers survival and I trust his opinion more then my own.
-The other I went to school with. We programmed a small *thingy (in java) during some free time. It was (and still is) amazing.

That is an accomplishment for sure. Especially in beating the main Ubuntu pages.

A stables was among one of the considerations I had. I just do not know how the sale of horses can be done. Maybe just have it sell Horse spawn eggs? That would work, but horses are actually quite common once you get out of the desert on our current map (though not the case on all new 1.6 maps). I have seen a lot during my travels on the map.

The currency will most likely be what it was before, gold ingots. It seems like a good way to go. Gold is quite useless in the game currently. Emeralds could also be used for this, but that limits currency to the admin-set-up shops only since they are so hard to find in the game normally. Gold would allow people to trade with one other without being dependent on the admin shops. If emerald were used for player trading, its rareness would hyper-inflate its value in create mini economies that vary hugely among players.

My only concern is that gold might become over abundant at one point. The only fix I can think is to make admin shops buy goods for around half its selling price at those shops. I might even have to disallow the sale of certain very abundant resources to admin shops. People tend to have tons of chests full of cobble, which would quickly flood the economy with gold, killing the potential for player to player trading.

Still needs work I guess. If anyone has suggestions, let me know.

I'll use this post as a place to update what I've done on the server so far.

And, as always, you can see the map and at http://minecraft.agoasite.com/map/.

Currently, players spawn right on the edge of the desert. If they follow the road from there, they will very quickly reach a desert town. The plan here is to eventually have it so players can use the market stalls (either as server shops or player made shops, or both), as well as own/use the houses in the town as residences (both in the desert town and the desert city).

The map in general has an expansive road system made. It connects the desert town near spawn with the desert capital city (name pending, suggestions?) with 5 villages, 2 pyramids, a rogue town in the making, and a player built town-in-process.

As for things planned.
-The road system will soon also connect with the large island in the spawn (and all it's features), the underwater shrine (name pending as well), and the the soon-to-be-founded AGOA City.
-I also hope, sometimes in the not-to-far future, to once again start a nether transport tunnel system like we had in the past.
-On top of all that, I hope to once again get Wayshrines placed around the map. They will be more out of the way (hidden) then before, have a higher cost to use, and hopefully be a fun feature to have in Vanilla minecraft (these are pure vanilla if you did not know).
-Sometimes in the not-to-far future I will be adding a new, large, building for all to enjoy. It may, or may not be part of the future AGOA City. And, it may or may not be the spawn building in the future. I am not sure yet. I will need feedback from other admins about it (I'll make contact when I need).

If you guys have anything else you want me to connect to the road system let me know. I will do my best to get them done in a timely manner.

Also, if there are any buildings that we have had on previous maps, that you really liked and think are nice enough to be moved over to this map somewhere, let me know. There is a good chance that I can get a hold of it. If we decide that it's a nice enough building, and if I can find a nice placement for it, I will put it on the map for people to explore and enjoy.

Any other question and / or suggestion, as well as objections, are happily welcomed. I wanna hear them. I can't make a server that you guys will fully enjoy, if you don't tell me what you want out of it.

When I white-listed you I copied and pasted the exact name you typed into the Name: section of the white-list application (which was 21superyoshis). I have just added that name once again for a safe count. Tell me if that worked.

As you folks are aware, I had been using the forum to host my images for the post I make on Reddit (/r/minecraft), in an attempt to get our Minecraft server more players and/or attention on the web.

Using the forum has had minimal success, so I tried using Imgur directly. Since then, I have whitelisted a few new players. I wil keep going with Imgur, at least for now, as that seems to have some success.

For those of you that do want to see the builds I post, they are all right here! There are currently 8 new builds posted since the last one that was posted on the forum. And, also, I love suggestions.

I am here to declare the Kingdom of Bolg'karak! Denovin and I are both the owners I will be acting as the leader. Johnny is still a member, and that gives me three. Which actually brings me to a point I want to make. Three player nations are way to small, even for starts. Everyone will just start their own. I think we need to raise that to at least 5.

And while we are talking about nations... here is the sort of nation setup I want to have possible with the Shards of the Fallen mod/plugin.
This here is the setup that I will have with Bolg'karak (gonna be the dwarf nation) when I get it implemented.

Youngblood: - These are players who have just joined, and have not been placed yet. Their primary goal is to perform any tasks required by the higher ranks, as well as to work on their living quarters. These living quarters will be the test of their skill. They will be placed into the upper ranks based on the level of competence they show.
There is a special Youngblood by the rank of Exemplar, who represents the whole on the council

Sentinel: - These members are responsible for protecting the settlements, as well as envoy's on diplomatic missions. When there is no immediate danger they assist the masons with raw labor. They, along with Mason's and Envoy's have direct command over any Youngblood not on a mission from the Arbiters.
They have a special member, whose title is the Archon, and they are placed on the ruling council, and act as the leader for the Sentinels.

Mason: - These are the builders, the masterminds of the nation's projects. They are Youngbloods who have shown a particular aptitude for construction. They have command of Youngbloods, and may ask an Envoy or a Sentinel to assist them, but that request may be denied. They are also given more free reign to build, as they have shown themselves to have a large ammount of common sense.
They have a special member, known as the Architect, who represents them on the ruling council. The Archtitect is also the acting leader of the Mason's as a whole.

Envoy: - These are Youngbloods who have shown themselves to be smooth talkers, and they act as diplomats, and couriers for the nation as a whole. This group will have a large ammount of pressure on it, as they are required to excel, with no exceptions. However, to that end, they will be given a larger ammount of support from the Arbiters than the other groups.
They have a special member known as the Voice of Bolg'karak, who represents the Arbiters, and the nation as a whole wherever they go, and carry with them much greater freedom, as well as responsibility.

Arbiter: - The Arbiter's are the ruling class, assisted by a council formed by the leaders of the normal groups. The arbiter's make major choices regarding the nature of the nation, and all major requests must be cleared through at least 2 of them. They are there to help and guide the nation, as well as to provide guidance. There will only ever be three Arbiters, and currently there are only 2.
There is no special distinction between them, all Arbiters have equal power.

Ok, so I am picking this project back up as soon as the next update is out (so I can  see the impact the new API will have on modding). If you guys want I am open to new suggestions/changes to the plugin/mod plan I currently have. I need to know exactly what I am going to make (assuming you guys have suggestions) so I can plan accordingly and save as much time as I can while making this (I am very busy now-a-days, unfortunately).

MCEdit works with current maps. I play around with it quite a bit. I also have an already terra-formed map I would like us to use for our next map.We will just need to to save everything we want to keep when we decide we want to move on, and I'll do all the rest. Bring it on! xD
